About The Position

Snowmass Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who is passionate about service, leadership, and operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations across all Club outlets, support and develop team members, and ensure service standards are consistently executed. You will lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and create an environment where both members and employees feel welcomed, valued, and connected. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, possesses strong food and beverage knowledge, and takes pride in creating outstanding member and guest experiences while driving operational success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Food & Beverage Management experience, preferably in a private club, resort, hotel, or upscale dining environment
  • Hospitality Management, Culinary, Business, or related degree preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, wine, beer, and spirits

Nice To Haves

  • Sommelier certification or advanced wine knowledge preferred
  • Banquet and event management experience preferred
  • Experience with club operations and member-focused service environments

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive and engaging food and beverage culture throughout all Club dining outlets
  • Lead by example while fostering teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members and supervisors
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional growth
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, labor management, and daily operational planning
  • Create a culture of recognition, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Lead departmental meetings, training sessions, and pre-shift lineups
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences that exceed member and guest expectations
  • Ensure service standards are consistently executed across restaurants, bars, pools, banquets, and special events
  • Build strong relationships with members and guests while anticipating their needs and preferences
  • Support the team during service by maintaining a visible and active presence on the floor
  • Resolve member and guest concerns professionally, promptly, and effectively
  • Foster a hospitality-driven culture focused on personalized service and memorable experiences
  • Oversee daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of menus, beverages, wine, beer, spirits, and service standards
  • Monitor service flow, outlet readiness, and overall guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory controls, ordering processes, and product quality standards
  • Support banquet operations, Club events, and special programming as needed
  • Review daily reports, financial performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure dining areas and service stations remain organized, clean, and presentation-ready
  • Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets
  • Monitor labor costs, productivity, and scheduling to meet operational goals
  • Support revenue growth through exceptional service, training, and operational execution
  • Manage inventory levels and cost controls to support financial performance
  • Review sales reports and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all Club policies, service standards, and operating procedures
  • Consistently follow state and local laws regarding alcohol service
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards throughout all outlets
  • Promote a safe work environment for employees, members, and guests
  • Understand and perform assigned responsibilities during emergency situations
  • Communicate member feedback, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to leadership
  • Collaborate with other departments to support Club-wide initiatives and member experiences
  • Attend leadership meetings, staff trainings, and departmental events
  • Support special events, tournaments, member functions, and Club programming as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall Club operations
