About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house operations at Dellshire Resort’s off-site restaurant Dawn Manor. This role ensures exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and a positive team environment while maintaining the highest hospitality standards. The Food & Beverage Manager leads service operations, manages staff performance, supports revenue goals, and ensures a memorable dining experience that reflects Dellshire Resort’s commitment to exceptional service, quality, and guest satisfaction. This position operates within Dellshire Resort’s off-site restaurant environment and requires flexibility to support peak dining periods. The schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during busy seasons or special events. The Food & Beverage Manager is expected to maintain a strong presence during service periods to support both guests and team members.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of restaurant leadership experience in a hospitality or resort environment.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and guest service skills.
  • Experience managing high-volume dining environments.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operational reporting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent movement throughout the dining room and service areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations including service, staffing, and guest experience.
  • Supervise front-of-house team members including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
  • Create and manage team schedules based on business levels and operational needs.
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and hospitality expectations are consistently met.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or feedback.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to support service excellence.
  • Monitor labor costs and assist with managing departmental budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, alcohol service regulations, and health standards.
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control initiatives.
  • Support special events, promotions, and high-volume service periods.
  • Assist with pre-opening preparation and operational readiness for the restaurant.
  • Promote a positive and professional culture.
  • Address concerns directly and professionally rather than through other team members.
  • Treat all Realm Keepers fairly and consistently.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid favoritism.
  • Support company decisions and present a united leadership front.
  • Hold team members accountable while also coaching and developing them.
  • Partner with leadership and HR on employee relations matters instead of trying to manage difficult situations independently.
  • Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and sound judgment, especially when handling confidential information.
  • Be solution-oriented and focused on what is best for the operation, guest experience, and team as a whole.
