About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for the Aloft Sarasota Hotel. This role involves leading all outlet operations, including the W XYZ bar and Re:fuel, to deliver high-energy, brand-compliant service. The manager will be responsible for managing inventory, driving financial targets, and overseeing day-to-day operations for all food and beverage outlets, including breakfast, the W XYZ bar, and banquets. The goal is to ensure the hotel's 'always on' brand experience by providing modern, stylish service while maximizing profitability, driving revenue, and maintaining high guest satisfaction scores. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas.
  • OR a 2-year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory control, and financial management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar service.
  • Commitment to the Aloft brand's, "different by design" culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily F&B operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, service procedures, and health/safety regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, control food/beverage costs (COGS), manage payroll, and optimize profitability.
  • Oversee ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Train, schedule, coach, and mentor staff to improve knowledge and skills, creating a positive, motivated work environment.
  • Proactively handle guest complaints to resolution, utilizing brand-specific recovery plans to maintain high service standards.
  • Supervise menu planning, food presentation, and beverage service quality.
  • Lead all outlet operations, including the W XYZ bar and Re:fuel, to deliver high-energy, brand-compliant service.
