The Food and Beverage Manager provides the highest quality service and product to satisfy Reynolds Lake Oconee clientele. This role actively participates in the restaurant operation, providing continuous direction to staff and ensuring maximum member/guest interaction. The manager is responsible for communicating pertinent information to front-of-house staff, assuring scheduled staff are present and performing duties to established standards, and ensuring equitable opening and closing duties are accomplished. This position supervises and maintains service standards, adherence to company policies, and timely completion of shift-closing paperwork. The manager establishes good communication between all departments and Food and Beverage staff, ensures the facility, equipment, and surrounding areas are well-maintained and clean, and provides continuous member menu feedback to the culinary department. A key responsibility is the consistent training agenda for all service staff, including regularly scheduled meetings and daily "line-ups." The role is also responsible for payroll and labor controls to achieve budgeted goals, participating in annual budget preparations, and timely completion of employee evaluations. A daily log of operations is maintained, and the manager oversees ordering and maintaining par levels for beverages and other inventory. Banking for Clubhouse operations and attendance at weekly Food and Beverage meetings are also required. Finally, the manager is responsible for all promotional and marketing information for weekly E-view, newsletter, and website.
