About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for the Aloft Sarasota Hotel, located in downtown Sarasota, FL. This lifestyle hotel features 139 rooms and 2400 square feet of meeting space. The Food and Beverage Manager will lead all outlet operations, including the W XYZ bar and Re:fuel, to deliver high-energy, brand-compliant service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, driving financial targets, and ensuring high guest satisfaction scores. The role requires managing day-to-day operations for all food and beverage outlets, including breakfast, the W XYZ bar, and banquets, while maximizing profitability and revenue. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas.
  • OR a 2-year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory control, and financial management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to manage diverse teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily F&B operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards, service procedures, and health/safety regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, control food/beverage costs (COGS), manage payroll, and optimize profitability.
  • Oversee ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Train, schedule, coach, and mentor staff to improve knowledge and skills, creating a positive, motivated work environment.
  • Proactively handle guest complaints to resolution, utilizing brand-specific recovery plans to maintain high service standards.
  • Supervise menu planning, food presentation, and beverage service quality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar service.
