About The Position

The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is seeking an experienced and energetic Food & Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant, banquet, catering, breakfast, and bar operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join Springfield's only tropical resort-style hotel and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to hotel guests, convention attendees, and restaurant patrons. The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is a full-service hotel featuring 172 guestrooms, over 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, multiple food and beverage outlets, indoor and outdoor pools, and a unique tropical atrium. Our food and beverage operations include Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar, banquet and catering services, complimentary breakfast, Bella’s In-House Pizzeria and Cabana Bar Proudly Serving Starbucks.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage management experience
Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and inventory
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Hotel, resort, restaurant, or convention center experience preferred
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Passion for guest service and hospitality

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations and profitability of all food and beverage areas while leading a team dedicated to exceptional guest service.
Leading, coaching, and developing restaurant, banquet, bar, and breakfast teams
Managing daily operations of Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar
Overseeing banquet, catering, and convention center food and beverage functions
Ensuring exceptional guest experiences
Managing labor, food, beverage, and operating costs
Recruiting, hiring, and training associates
Monitoring inventory, purchasing, and cost controls
Maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards
Working closely with culinary, sales, and hotel leadership teams to achieve revenue and guest satisfaction goals
Driving operational excellence while creating a positive and engaging work environment
