About The Position

This position is Full Time Second or Third Shift, will complete training on First Shift. We are looking for a trainable addition to join our pharmaceutical packaging team. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating small format folding equipment, performing fine mechanical adjustments for accuracy and consistency, and running pharmaceutical inserts and outserts to strict quality standards. Training will be provided for setting up automatic bindery machines with multiple functions and station capabilities, including power paper cutters, power collators and gatherers, power folders, and power speed binders. Responsibilities also include inspecting equipment for safety issues and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, making adjustments to coordinate multiple workstations, and monitoring quality, output, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience on small folding equipment
  • Knowledge of the set up, operating requirements, procedures, capabilities and limitations of one or more bindery machines
  • Knowledge of the quality and machining requirements of various coated and uncoated types of paper stock
  • Skill in setting up and adjusting machines for finishing operations and to refine such adjustments for the weight, color, machinability and quality of paper stock being used and to prevent machining impressions on the printed materials
  • Navy MOS: LI:Lithographer
  • Marine MOS: 4615:Combat Lithographer
  • Army MOS: 83F:Printing and Bindery Specialist
