Requirements

Ability to read a ruler (standard and metric) and understand PDF drawings.
Basic math skills.
Fine motor skills and steady hands for precise machine adjustments.
Strong attendance track record; reliability is non-negotiable.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions without constant direction.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing environment.
Team player with solid communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Basic/entry-level operator experience (Starting at $20–$23/hr).
Experienced operator — setup & running multiple jobs (Up to $24–$28/hr).
Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate folder gluer machines (including the DGM and Diana) according to job specs, ensuring clean setups and minimal waste.
Read and accurately follow production tickets from start to finish.
Fold and glue product to exact customer specifications for every run.
Pack product by count, check for quality defects, and stage for shipping.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep machines running and minimize downtime.
Accurately complete job tickets and recap forms.
Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready workspace.
Hit and maintain established machine rates for pieces produced per hour.
Work collaboratively in a team environment.
