About The Position

The Supervisor works with the Management Team and the General Manager to direct and supervise the overall operations of the location, typically with a specific department as a focus area. The main objective of this role is to support the hourly team members to execute job responsibilities throughout the shift, delivering exceptional guest experiences. Additionally, the individual may be responsible for the completion of tasks related to (and to support) management. The Supervisor will be assigned to a primary location, but may be asked to work at alternate locations if the need should arise. The goal of this position is to familiarize the individual with management practices and procedures to best prepare them to move into a salaried management position in the future. The Supervisor is expected to maintain a full-time (37.5+ hour) work schedule and will be scheduled to work in this position part-time for two shifts per week, while the remaining 2-3 shifts may be worked in any other FOH department in which the individual is trained. In the event of extended management needs, this position may increase to full time solely in the Supervisor position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to work 30+ hours per week and have open availability on Weekdays, Week Nights, Weekends and Holidays
  • Must be able to stand, bend or stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be Servsafe certified
  • Must be proficient in Food and Alcohol Safety

Responsibilities

  • Support the hourly team members to execute job responsibilities throughout the shift, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Understand all company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold company standards, specifications, and guidelines with all food and beverage.
  • Understand the training program in their specific department.
  • Ensure guest relations are at the front of mind and hold peers accountable to do the same.
  • Embrace a culture of professionalism and be a proven leader amongst their peers.
  • Provide conflict resolutions in a positive, effective manner.
  • Ensure team members are upholding company standards of service and hospitality.
  • Champion change and embrace new initiatives that are implemented by the Executive Team.
  • Maintain the appearance of their department within the location and monitor sanitation/cleanliness in all departments within the location.
  • Effectively communicate and understand the core values of the company.
  • Monitor and maintain daily POS transactions – report any issues, and ensure items ring in correctly.
  • Completion of any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Management Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall success of the team and organization.
