About The Position

Pinstripes is known for attracting exceptional people who are passionate about service. Their venues are dynamic in layout and design, with no two Pinstripes being the same. They generally host hundreds of guests each week in their Bistro, Bowling, Bocce, or Bar areas, and also host and execute numerous events a week, from corporate happy hours to social gatherings and seated coursed dinners. Managers will be exposed to every workgroup (service, host, and bar), manage different zones of the venue, run private events, and see daily, weekly, and quarterly financials to understand how to move the venue forward financially. The company focuses on creating well-rounded restaurateurs who are also savvy businesspeople through professional development classes, mentoring, and guidance.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old and over

Responsibilities

  • Actively seeks opportunities to uphold company standards for food, beverage, service, and aesthetics
  • Run and execute shifts
  • Open & close the venue with the correct aesthetics
  • Maintain company standards for aesthetics throughout the shift
  • Show ownership of assigned area
  • Ensure good shift flow
  • Actively control labor to hit budgets
  • Hold Inspirational and knowledgeable Pre-shifts
  • Engage with the staff
  • Communicate information to the staff
  • Coach service in all workgroups: See It, Say It
  • Hold disciplinary or hard conversations with staff and hold people accountable
  • Communicate staff issues well with other Managers
  • Perform table touches with guests
  • Actively seek to engage and connect with the guest
  • Handle guest situations and solve the guest completely
  • Actively seek community involvement
