About The Position

Located on Denver’s bustling Tennyson street, Vital Root focuses on plant-based meals that nourish the body and honor sustainability. Mostly vegetarian and 100% gluten free, this fast-casual concept from Edible Beats serves real ingredients and real food in a bright, comfy space brimming with natural accents and large, covered patio. In year 1 earn between $24–$25 per hour on average ( with tips included). Wages go higher from there based on tenure and proficiency. Base wage of $19.29/hour plus tips through a tip pool system. Tips are shared across the team and added to your hourly pay.

Requirements

• Can function effectively in a high-volume restaurant while multitasking and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and the ability to remain active throughout the shift.
• Open availability is preferred, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift over 20 lbs multiple times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and guide the front of house team to ensure smooth service and high standards throughout the shift.
• Model and promote excellent hospitality and efficiency.
• Maintain a mindset focused on continuous learning and personal development.
• Bring positive energy and a collaborative attitude to every shift.
• Work independently when needed and communicate clearly with BOH and FOH teams.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation.
• Set up, organize, replenish, and deep-clean all front of house facilities including service stations, professional work stations, tables & decor, restrooms, etc.
• Be able to support closing up, locking up, and arming the building
