The Maintenance Manager (MM) is the onsite leader responsible for the building, equipment, and grounds condition of the hotel. This is a lead maintenance role for facilities with a limited range, and the Maintenance Manager may supervise or provide leadership to 1-2 maintenance workers. The position involves performing maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance across all areas of the hotel. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized maintenance shop, ensuring the security of hotel inventory and assets (tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and focusing on guest and associate satisfaction, expense control, and product quality to contribute to the hotel's overall goals. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for the upkeep, use, care, and repair of the company vehicle, ensuring its compliance with regulations, prompt reporting of defects, and completion of necessary repairs to keep it safe and operational.
