About The Position

This position supervises daily foam production operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, organized, and professional work environment. The role involves leading and developing employees through open communication, fair and consistent policy administration, performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives. The supervisor will drive operational excellence by improving first-run quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role promotes and enforces Health, Safety, and Environmental standards by conducting training, inspections, investigations, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace. Compliance with Magna Employee Charter principles, Quality and Material Management Systems, ISO 14001 requirements, and company objectives is also a key responsibility, while supporting high productivity and positive EOS results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of supervisory experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP systems and production communication devices preferred.
