About The Position

Excel Boat Company, LLC is a national premier boat building company for the recreation industry. Our boats are built tough and our welds are first class. Our specialty is bay, bass, walleye, salmon, duck hunting and crappie fishing boats. We are growing fast in our brand new, state of the art boat building plant in Union City, TN and Mountain View, AR. This role sets up, operates foam equipment and administers foam into boats/parts/sections. Using Foam specs and information provided by engineering for foam times, measurements and testing, etc. Monitors foam equipment for scheduling general maintenance. Monitor foam tanks for temperature requirements and periodic changing.

Converts measurements between standard and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
Lifts specified equipment sections into boat/part.
Prepare for boat sections to be foamed, fastening sections in position to prepare boat for foaming.
Connects hose to systems and operate.
Turns valves and sets dial to regulate flow of foam materials circulating through equipment and to control the foam, based on size and structure of part being foamed, and measurement and control temperature.
Removes board after foamed.
Inspects and verifies work.
Monitor foam tanks for temperature requirements and periodic changing.
Monitors foam equipment for scheduling general maintenance.
Converts measurements between standard and metric measurements.
