Foam Encasement Operator
About The Position
The Foam Encasement Operator follows the production schedule, obtains supplies for their workstation, and continuously assembles Foam Encased units according to GMS specifications. This role involves removing spring assemblies from packaging and preparing them for the Matt Build department, as well as regularly clearing packaging materials and debris from the work area throughout the shift. The operator is also responsible for completing necessary paperwork and production-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, the position requires assisting the Matt Supply department as instructed and cross-training in other Matt Build/Tape Edge operations or equipment to ensure efficient plant operation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with hands.
- Ability to move up to 60 pounds.

- Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
