The Clinical Practice Educator (CPE) precepts and supervises the clinical experience of students in Regis University’s nurse practitioner programs. These supervised clinical experiences are an integral part of preparing graduate-level advanced practice nursing students. The CPE role is available to eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine advanced nurse practitioners, physicians, and physician assistants; it is not available to providers practicing in a specialty area. The student is required to complete 210 clinical hours per semester. The CPE serves in a three-part capacity as provider, preceptor, and clinical faculty, communicates with course faculty about student progress and concerns, and completes a final evaluation. The role is available for two of the three semesters in a year. Applicants should submit a CV or resume. The position remains open until filled; the preferred application deadline is November 18, 2026. Pay is $500 per student per semester. The position is eligible for workers’ compensation and provides one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
