About The Position

Nokia of America Corporation is seeking an FN Care Technology Expert in Dallas, TX. This role involves analyzing and troubleshooting complex broadband access field issues remotely for optical network terminal and fixed wireless access products. The expert will collaborate closely with other teams to drive issue resolution, reproduce and isolate issues in lab environments, and create/manage high-quality Jira tickets for timely follow-up and resolution with R&D. The position also requires conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and developing knowledge base content to enhance team efficiency and customer support. Additionally, the role involves defining diagnostic requirements, collaborating with product teams to enhance debugging capabilities, and working with the Care Innovation team to integrate Automation/AI for improved Care delivery. The role also includes participation in an on-call weekend rotation (48 hrs) every 1.5 months.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
  • 2 years of experience debugging LTE and 5G network structure, core network, radio network, and distributed antenna issues.
  • 2 years of experience using networking concepts, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, IPV4, and IPV6, to isolate issues.
  • 2 years of experience in RF propagation modelling and interference analysis for 5G/4G network.
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting WiFi related issues.
  • 1 year of experience in LTE and 5G signaling.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
