FMxC2 Cloud Engineer
About The Position
The FMxC2 Cloud Engineer designs, implements, secures, automates, and supports cloud infrastructure and platform services for the Field Maintenance Command and Control (FMxC2) application. The role supports application modernization, scalability, resiliency, security, and DevSecOps delivery, and contributes to cloud adoption, Infrastructure-as-Code implementation, CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and secure application delivery. This is a near-term opportunity. The role requires the candidate to be local to Montgomery, Alabama, a U.S. citizen, and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of infrastructure, platform, systems, or cloud engineering experience.
- Experience deploying, managing, and supporting solutions in enterprise cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Cloud One, or similar platforms.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code and automation solutions.
- Experience supporting containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevSecOps processes in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, secure system design, and cloud security principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Local to Montgomery, Alabama.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience supporting FMxC2.
- Experience supporting Air Force logistics, maintenance, readiness, sustainment, or operational systems.
- Experience supporting DoD or Air Force programs.
- Experience supporting cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Cloud-related certifications.
- Experience supporting cloud-based AI/ML services, automation frameworks, or infrastructure supporting AI-enabled solutions.
- SAFe Agile experience or certification.
