About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Training (GT) is looking for a talented Project Management Specialist to join our International Vertical Lift Training team in Hazelwood, MO. This role includes program execution across various product support elements and new business proposals to support both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) for our international partners. Our team is looking for an individual skilled with program management discipline, ability to navigate a fast-paced program, strong collaboration skills, and a great attitude to enable successful program execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent military experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Experience developing presentations for leadership
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads projects and provides oversight (including performance management metrics & reporting) for a portfolio of complex projects to support International Vertical Lift Training organizational goals and objectives
  • Leads proposal, technical and cost volume development and project execution by identifying activities, resources, and tasks required to complete the work statement
  • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
  • Lead assessments and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders
  • Manage the Risk, Issues, and Opportunities, and associate mitigation and implementation plans
  • Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction and delivery of high-quality products and services on-time
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plans regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Interface, communicate and develop relationships with our US Army customer
  • Integrates with various business units, cross functional teams, suppliers, and customers
