Requirements

Attention to detail is critical, as you will be creating programs designed to meticulously inspect products to identify defects.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience with Flying Probe Machines (e.g., SPEA, Takaya, Keysight).
Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and test methodologies.
Familiarity with CAD data, schematics, and test program generation.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits and components.
Understanding of ESD precautions and electronics manufacturing standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and functional test systems.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume production environments.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Lean manufacturing principles.
Familiarity with MES/ERP systems for test data logging.

Responsibilities

Create and refine test programs that verify PCBAs through in-circuit and functional testing, helping ensure product quality before shipment.
Programing flying probe machines to perform in-circuit and functional testing of PCBAs.
Developing, loading, and optimizing programs for new builds.
Supporting root-cause investigations for failures.
Keeping accurate documentation of procedures, results, and corrective actions to meet IPC, ISO, and customer requirements.
Analyzing test outcomes to pinpoint defects, and sharing clear feedback with production and engineering.
Interpreting test results, identifying defects, and providing feedback to production and engineering teams.
Performing routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Collaborating with design and process engineers to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Documenting test procedures, results, and corrective actions in compliance with quality standards.
Training junior technicians and operators on flying probe machine usage and safety protocols.
