The Fly-By-Wire & Secondary Control System Engineer will perform the integration of the FBW & Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft. This role involves supporting the development of concepts, design approach, and philosophy with the Flight Control system supplier. The engineer will also perform/review analysis to evaluate concepts feasibility, develop and validate technical requirements of the Flight Control System, and review/prepare technical requirements and test procedures. Responsibilities include executing test rig and/or aircraft testing, reviewing/preparing test reports for certification activities, and resolving problems arising from in-service aircraft, including troubleshooting, root cause determination, and corrective action definition and execution. The role ensures compliance with the ARP4754 development process and supports trade-off studies and life cycle cost analysis for future programs, ensuring the design process and equipment implementation align with customer requirements and standards. Occasional trips to supplier facilities and regulatory authorities, as well as on-site support to the Final Assembly Line, are expected.
