About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flux-Cored Arc Welders for projects located in or around Starke, FL. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must have structural steel welding experience
- Must be proficient in FCAW welding
- Must be able to pass a vertical-up FCAW weld test
- Must be able to read and interpret structural drawings
- Must have experience measuring, laying out, and assembling structural steel components
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to meet production requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on structural steel
- Produce quality welds in flat and flat-fillet positions
- Read and interpret structural drawings
- Measure and lay out materials according to specifications
- Tack weld structural assemblies prior to final weld-out
- Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure completed welds and assemblies meet project standards
