About The Position

Austin Industrial is seeking a Fluid Technician to join their team. This role involves removing and replacing fluids, lubricants, and components safely and efficiently, performing production machine cleans, and creating/editing TPM documents. The technician will also complete routine work orders, preventative maintenance, and appropriate paperwork. The position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs, and forklift experience is a plus. Basic automotive experience is desirable. The role demands multitasking and good communication skills, along with the ability to locate and verify materials for production orders. The technician will contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have valid Driver's License
  • Must have Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
  • Must have forklift experience or ability to learn and be trained on forklift.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English.
  • Must be able to multitask, communicate well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Removing/replacing all fluids, lubricants, and components as required in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform production machine cleans.
  • Create and edit TPM documents on computer.
  • Complete all routine work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
