About The Position

Austin Industrial is seeking a Fluid Technician to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves the safe and efficient removal and replacement of fluids, lubricants, and components, as well as performing production machine cleans. The technician will also be responsible for creating and editing TPM documents, completing routine work orders and preventative maintenance, and handling appropriate paperwork. The position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs, and forklift experience is a plus. Basic automotive experience is desirable, and the ability to multitask and communicate effectively is essential. The role also includes locating and verifying materials and supplies based on production orders and contributing to team efforts.

Requirements

  • Must have valid Driver's License
  • Must have Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
  • Must have forklift experience or ability to learn and be trained on forklift.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

  • Removing/replacing all fluids, lubricants, and components as required in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform production machine cleans.
  • Create and edit TPM documents on computer.
  • Complete all routine work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
