The Fluid Technician is responsible for managing the chemicals used during hydraulic fracturing (HF) operations on location. This includes monitoring the safe transport and delivery of chemicals to and from the job site, maintaining the necessary chemical inventory for each job, and communicating any chemical changes to vendors and clients. The role also involves performing pre-job testing, generating reports, assisting equipment operators, coordinating with vendors for inventory, and maintaining records of chemical deliveries. Additionally, the technician is responsible for the setup and operation of acid roll pumps, adhering to safety requirements, and operating a company vehicle safely. Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, including attending training and using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
