As a Fluid Lab Technician, you will support critical testing and analysis that ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of essential power equipment. Working with industry-recognized standards such as ASTM, IEEE, and IEC, you will play a key role in evaluating oil quality and dissolved gas analysis results that directly influence operational decisions. Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in industrial environments preferred
  • Familiarity with ASTM, IEEE, or IEC standards is a plus
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Collect oil samples from labs, transformers, tanks, and incoming shipments
  • Perform Dissolved Gas Analysis and fluid quality testing
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment daily
  • Record and manage test results across multiple systems
  • Evaluate samples against ASTM, IEEE, and IEC standards
  • Generate quality notifications when criteria are not met
  • Support tank inspections, fluid handling, and environmental processes
  • Maintain lab supplies, cleanliness, and operational readiness
