About The Position

The 2nd shift Bulk Milk Receiving Operator is responsible for unloading raw milk trucks, separating it, and transferring it into tanks/trucks by completing manual hose hookups from the truck to the tank. Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm. Rotational weekend and holiday work is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, record, and communicate data in English.
Flexible schedule, including overtime and varying shifts as needed.
Valid driver’s license required
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with all PPE and GMP requirements.
Positive attitude with a high level of integrity and alignment with our mission, vision, values & operating principles

Nice To Haves

food manufacturing experience preferred
CDL-A with tanker endorsement preferred
Capable of extended physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

Unload raw milk trucks and transfer it to holding tanks.
Operate milk processing equipment and separation technology.
Perform documented Quality Tests on the raw milk in accordance with regulatory guidelines before unloading.
Track milk loads and record results.
Assist the internal transport of milk to Open Gates facilities when needed.
Perform sanitation and clean-up duties to maintain food safety and operational efficiency.
Assist with internal product transfers as required.
Maintain quality standards in accordance with State and Federal regulatory requirements.
Stay current with required processing technology and separation equipment operation.
Uphold, support, and promote all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform additional duties as needed to support successful business operations.
Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required.
