Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must work in a team environment
  • Maintain adherence to work hours scheduled specifically starting, ending, lunch and break schedules
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and safety guidelines
  • Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Perform and record all sanitation duties in the fluid bottling area including CIP (Clean In Place), COP (Clean Out of Place), MSS tasks, sanitizing equipment, supporting the environmental program, and manual cleaning of all equipment associated with fluid bottling.
  • Perform and record all quality assurance (QA) tests and checks pertaining to the fluid bottling area. Must taste product at start of bottling run and at change of tanks to ensure it meets quality standards and is free of any off notes.
  • Proficient in all production communication and computer programs including the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) board.
  • Perform and record all required tasks within the bottle handling area including Drop Packer Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust the filler machine as necessary according to the standards of the operation.
  • Procure the proper materials from the warehouse and ensure storage compliance before releasing materials back to the warehouse.
  • Perform basic maintenance duties for all equipment as required.
  • Perform all duties within established safety guidelines. This includes but is not limited to adhering to Safety in Motion guidelines, LOTO procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, obtaining, and maintaining Fall Protection certification, Clarity, SLAM observations and using the correct tools for the task at hand.
  • Obtain and maintain all required certification for regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain certifications for all required Power Industrial Trucks (PITs).
  • Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
