BLUE ORIGIN•Los Angeles, CA
•$121,023 - $169,432

About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin’s Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Moon landers and related products. The team is building sustainable infrastructure to transport crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. The engineer applies engineering techniques to design, install, modify, analyze, repair, and test fluid systems. The role develops, releases, and supports engineering artifacts throughout the development cycle for hardware fabrication, assembly, verification, testing, and operations. It also implements operating procedures, resolves system malfunctions, provides technical information, and collaborates with suppliers on design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data used to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements. The engineer will design and build portions of the MK2 Crew Lander fluid and propulsion systems, including tubing and mounting hardware. The role owns CAD models and coordinates analysis and manufacturing development across the system lifecycle, from conceptual and detailed design through component development, assembly, verification, and operation.
