About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and fluent Spanish-speaking instructor to lead our STEM After School Program for students in grades K-5th. This role involves teaching STEM concepts through the Spanish language from September to November, Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience working with children in grades K-5th.
• Knowledge of STEM concepts.
• Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an after-school program setting.
• Experience teaching STEM subjects.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Teach STEM concepts to students in grades K-5th using Spanish.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for after-school sessions.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents and school staff regarding student progress.
• Prepare materials and set up the classroom for each session.
• Participate in program-related events such as mini camps and field trips.
