About The Position

Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer, is hiring Floral Specialists to join their team. This is an hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements

Previous floral experience required
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Word and Excel
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Retail customer service experience preferred
Proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must successfully pass math test
TB Clearance required
Must comply with all company policies and requirements

Responsibilities

Floral design and merchandising in a floral shop within a shop environment
Ensuring all floral items are fresh, adequately stocked, and properly signed
Assessing floral sales
Drafting and submitting orders
Receiving and prepping all plant and floral products
Taking inventory
Managing shrink and floral supplies
Assisting floral customers with special orders or requests by designing and fulfilling their orders within timeline
Actively supporting the Store Director/ Produce-Floral Manager/Buyer in the fulfillment of their responsibilities in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling store and floral department activities and operations
Executing all major holiday promotional programs to ensure department goals are met
