This role involves training and supervising personnel, ensuring customer service, quality, freshness, and selection of floral products. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, preparing, pricing, and merchandising all floral products. The manager champions customer service programs, handles customer relations, monitors associate performance, and makes personnel recommendations. They are also responsible for product freshness, responding to special occasion needs, performing receiving duties, adhering to product handling guidelines, decorating plants, making bows and balloons, and preparing bouquets. The position requires controlling shrink and cost, ensuring proper signing and pricing, conducting inventories, managing administrative paperwork, and meeting sales and profit objectives. The manager must also ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
