About The Position

Westborn Market is seeking a part-time Floral Designer responsible for creating and executing unique floral designs, as well as custom pieces requested by clients. This role requires independent and efficient design capabilities. Westborn Market, a third-generation family-owned business with four locations in Metro Detroit, values quality goods, superior service, and strong team member relationships, treating customers as friends and team members as family.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Floral Design experience required
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Creating unique floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions
• Designing custom pieces for the design showcase
• Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options
• Preparing floral arrangements for daily delivery and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Providing excellent customer service
