About The Position
Westborn Market is seeking a Part-Time Floral Designer to create and execute unique floral designs for various events and occasions, as well as custom pieces for their design showcase. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing expert advice on floral choices, and preparing arrangements for daily delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to design independently and efficiently, maintain a clean work environment, and provide excellent customer service. Westborn Market is a third-generation owned and operated business with four locations across Metro Detroit, valuing quality goods, superior service, and strong team member relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Floral Design experience required
- Excellent creativity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Creating unique floral arrangements for a variety of events and occasions
- Designing custom pieces for the design showcase
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on floral choices and design options
- Preparing floral arrangements for daily delivery and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Providing excellent customer service
