About The Position

Star Interior Resources is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and motivated flooring sales professional to join our Phoenix area team. The Flooring Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting and attracting new clients while developing long-term relationships and managing existing accounts to drive product sales within both the commercial and residential markets. You will sell a variety of flooring products, as well as promote other company products and services.

Requirements

• Experience with selling flooring products and materials
• Experience measuring home or client location
• Experience with business-to-business sales
• Demonstrated ability to work in either a retail flooring environment or with builders, developers, various sub-contractors, manufacturers, designers and architects.
• Aggressive sales attitude and demonstrated ability to close
• Relationship driven and understands how to develop and retain business
• Professional communication skills and demeanor
• Flooring product knowledge including carpet, tile, wood, laminate, and resilient
• Project Management: Ability to work jobs from start to finish as part of a team and/or independently
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CRM (Salesforce, FreshSales etc,) and invoicing/project management systems a plus
• Associates degree preferred.
