Requirements

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED, 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred
• Moderate physical demands required. Sales/Design Consultants are required to stand for prolonged periods of time and will occasionally have to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Each Flooring Sales Consultant receives unrivaled training, including: Product knowledge of our vast, quality-manufactured assortment of hard and soft flooring surfaces.
• The technology that drives HOM Furniture, streamlines our work and simplifies each customer's sales experience.
• Our unique customer focused sales solution approach.
• The art of meticulous accuracy processing sales quotes, measuring jobs and final orders.
• Comprehensive follow up on product deliveries and/or installations.
• Introduction to ordering customized flooring from boundless options.
• Mentoring to achieve financial growth as a consultant and/or career advancement opportunities in a leadership or corporate role.
• We focus on exceptional customer experiences inside every one of our large, beautiful stores.
• Each Flooring Sales Consultant asks the right questions, then listens attentively and delivers the perfect design solution every time.
• They love the end result nearly as much as their customers!
• Sales Consultants participate in maintaining price cards plus light duty vacuuming and dusting in their assigned areas.
