About The Position
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is hiring a full-time Day Floor Technician at State Farm Arena. The role is responsible for maintaining hard floors, corridors, restrooms, and carpeted areas. Work includes sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, sealing, finishing, and buffing floors, as well as vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and spot-cleaning carpet. Available shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour. The Floor Technician reports to the Shift Manager or Team Lead, who provides work assignments and supervision. The technician must maintain equipment, identify and report unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns, and carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
- Ability to climb up and down a ladder.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff scheduled areas.
- Inspect and hand-clean corners that power cleaning equipment cannot reach.
- Remove floor drain inspection plates and clean by hand when necessary.
- Inspect for finish build-up and correct it.
- Report areas that may require a different maintenance schedule to the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Immediately inform the Cleaning Supervisor of leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain equipment in good condition.
- Vacuum and clean carpeted areas as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
