About The Position

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking Day Floor Technicians for State Farm Arena. The Floor Technician performs scheduled hard-floor and corridor cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, finishing, and buffing. The role also involves stripping and sealing restroom floors and maintaining carpets through vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and spot cleaning. The Floor Technician reports to the Shift Manager or Team Lead, who assigns and supervises the work. The position is full-time, with a listed shift of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Follow supervisor instructions and complete assigned tasks effectively.
Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Be able to carry, push and/or pull, and stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Be able to climb up and down a ladder.
Be able to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Strip, scrub, mop, finish, and buff areas according to schedule.
Inspect and hand-clean corners that power-cleaning equipment cannot reach.
Remove floor-drain inspection plates and clean by hand when necessary.
Inspect for finish build-up and correct it.
Report areas that may require a different maintenance schedule to the Cleaning Supervisor.
Immediately inform the Cleaning Supervisor of leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions.
Maintain equipment in good condition.
Vacuum and clean carpeted areas as scheduled.
Perform other duties as assigned.
