About The Position

The Floor Technician position at Maple Crest Senior Living offers a people-first environment with competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour, with credit given for experience. It's a full-time, daytime role from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend work. The company provides a supportive team with training, resources, and growth opportunities, and aims for a quick hiring process with responses within 48 hours. In this role, the technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor surfaces within the senior living facility, including shampooing carpets in resident rooms, staff offices, dining areas, and common spaces, as well as stripping, waxing, and maintaining hard surface flooring. The role also involves assisting the housekeeping department and supporting resident transportation as needed, all while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, facility policies, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Prior floor care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Shampoo carpets in resident rooms, staff offices, dining areas, and common spaces
• Strip, wax, and maintain hard surface flooring as assigned
• Perform all duties in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, facility policies, and safety standards
• Assist the housekeeping department as needed
• Support resident transportation when required
