About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking an experienced Floor Technician to work at their organization. This position will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas, staff offices, and patient rooms, ensuring quality and timeliness of cleaning. The role involves performing cleaning activities, operating equipment safely, reporting maintenance needs, and adhering to established policies and procedures related to quality assurance, safety, environmental conditions, and infection control. The Floor Technician will also maintain a professional attitude with all individuals encountered and participate in all mandatory safety, security, and infection control programs.

Requirements

One (1) year of housekeeping experience is required.
Minimum age of 18 years old required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and public areas as assigned daily following established procedures.
Conducts all cleaning activities and operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner as prescribed in the departmental training sessions.
Ensure cleanliness of areas of responsibility.
Reports all building and/or furniture maintenance requirements to the Environmental Services Team Lead.
Attends all meetings and training sessions as required.
Maintains established department policies, procedures and objectives, concerning quality assurance, safety, environmental conditions and infection control.
Maintains professional attitude with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel while assuring confidentiality of patient information.
Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department.
Demonstrates work practices consistent with Immanuel and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.
Stocks cleaning cart.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
