FLOOR TECHNICIAN (PART TIME)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Floor Technician at Allied Services Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance and restoration and for operating industrial floor-care equipment. The position’s schedule is part-time, with days varying and hours from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Requirements
- Prior floor-care experience, including scrubbing and buffing, is required for this posting.
- Proven knowledge of floor-care equipment and techniques is required.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a floor-care technician or in a related role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and follow appropriate procedures for stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
- Operate various types of industrial floor-care equipment.
- Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
- Follow appropriate procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp-surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Perform maintenance and restoration processes for all floor-surface types.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
