Learn more at GCE.org. The Shift Leader is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position.

Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in custodial or related services.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
Physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
Ability to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job successfully.

Responsibilities

Safely performing contract duties as assigned by management.
Providing quality customer service at all times.
Learning all aspects of the job.
Bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above head, sitting (to drive), and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
