About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech and help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; safely operating floor care equipment; documenting floor care activities; and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Floor Tech follows infection control and universal precautions, performs routine and repetitive tasks, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
