About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; safely operating floor-care equipment; and following infection-control and universal-precautions policies to help maintain a sanitary environment. The Floor Tech records floor-care activities and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. The position also involves positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests and providing excellent customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Candidates should be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously, follow oral and written instructions, and work around food and cleaning products. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous floor-care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.
