About The Position

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Floor Tech to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents and staff. The Floor Tech performs daily cleaning and maintenance throughout the facility, helps manage supplies and linen, assists with laundry, and responds to cleaning emergencies. This role is part of the maintenance team and involves collaborating with other team members to meet departmental goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy equipment and supplies as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Restock supplies and linen as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing.
• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Respond to spills, accidents, and other cleaning emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
