About The Position

The Floor Tech maintains the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, while safely operating floor care equipment. The Floor Tech also records floor care activities, reports maintenance or safety issues, follows infection control and universal precautions policies, and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
