About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role involves performing floor care in resident rooms, common areas, and offices while helping provide a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The Floor Tech operates floor care equipment, maintains activity records, reports maintenance or safety issues, and follows infection control and universal precautions policies. The position also requires positive communication and customer service when interacting with building occupants and HCSG leadership.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
