Floor Tech (Part Time)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a part-time Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; safely operating floor-care equipment; and maintaining records of floor-care work. The Floor Tech follows infection-control and universal-precaution policies, reports maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor, and provides positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. Other duties may be assigned. The starting pay rate is $16.90 per hour. Pay may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business factors. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous floor-care experience is preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
- Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Operate floor-care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain records of floor-care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precaution policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
