About The Position
PMM Companies is currently looking to fill a Floor Tech position at Stevenson University. This is a temporary, full-time role. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning buildings and keeping areas neat and tidy by removing debris, buffing floors, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets. Experience in the use of floor care equipment is preferred. The candidate will oversee buffs, waxes floors, trips, top scrubs, carpet cleaner, and sweepers floors at all times.
Requirements
- Experience is preferred.
- Must have experience in the use of floor care equipment.
Responsibilities
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
- Steam-clean carpets.
- Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
- Mix various cleaning agents.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture and scrub surface clean.
- Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
- Apply sealant to floors.
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
