About The Position

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for a long-term care nursing facility in Reading, PA. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Experience in a nursing home, senior living, hospital, or healthcare setting is preferred. Walk-ins are welcome to fill out an application in person.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.

Nice To Haves

• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience.
• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Operate various pieces of equipment such as extractors, auto-scrapers, high-speed buffers, shop vacs, side-to-side buffers, vacuums, and steam machines safely and properly.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and store it properly in designated locations after each use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
